Additional Green Waste Can Subscription Contract
This Contract Agreement is entered into between the homeowner and the District for the provision of a Green Waste Can. By signing below, the homeowner acknowledges and agrees to the following terms:
1. Account Status
- The Customer must maintain a current account to receive green waste collection services.
2. Fees
- Startup Fee: A one-time, non-refundable fee of $70 is required to start the additional green waste can service.
- Quarterly Billing: The cost for an additional green waste can is $10.50 per quarter, even though collection occurs for only nine months each year. Billing is evenly spread over four quarters. ($42 a year)
3. Green Waste Collection Schedule
- Green waste collection occurs from the second Monday of March through the second Friday of December each year.
- Although green waste is collected for only nine months, billing occurs over four quarters.
4. Replacement Can:
- Damaged Can: A $70 fee will apply if the can damage exceeds normal wear and tear.
- Stolen Can: The replacement fee is $40 for a refurbished can or $70 for a new can.
