We are proud of our world-class customer service, with a 94% satisfaction rating among our customers in 2021. Approximately 148,000 tons of waste are generated annually by the more than 86,000 homes we are responsible for collecting and hauling. We provide a variety of ways to manage and transport the waste, including weekly curbside garbage, recycling, and subscription green waste collections. The Wasatch Front Waste and Recycling District was recently reorganized from a Local District to a Special Service District. The Salt Lake County Council and the District Board allowed the reorganization to enable more efficient control of garbage and recycling for the communities in which we serve. Cities and townships we service now have ultimate authority regarding their sanitation needs and are governed by the Board of Trustees.
