Curb Painting Flyers

An unknown curb painting company is hanging flyers on WFWRD waste and recycling containers to advertise their services. It gives the appearance that this is a service provided by the County. Please note that this is NOT a service provided by WFWRD or Salt Lake County, and this company has not received permission to use our waste/recycling cans as a medium to advertise their services. If you receive one of these notices, please contact your local law enforcement office.

Curbside Christmas Tree Collection

During the month of January, WFWRD will be collecting Christmas Trees curbside. Please do not place your trees out in the street. The tree will be collected on your normal waste/recycling collection day, and must be free from all decorations, including flocking and tree stands. If your tree is not picked up one week, we will be back on a following collection day to pick it up. If your tree is more than eight feet tall, please cut it in half to fit in our trucks. More information can be found at:, or by calling our offices at (385) 468-6325.

Last Week for Green Waste Collection in 2016

The last day for Green Waste Collection, in 2016, is Friday, December 9. Please do not place your Green Waste can out after this date. Green Waste collections will resume on your regular collection day the week of March 20, 2017.
